CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
The vast majority of people involved in sporting activities derive interest and pleasure from the photos captured by Essex Sports Agency and from the enjoyment shown by the participants. Events, by their nature, are in the public arena and when entering for an event the participant acknowledges this fact, and that at least professionally approved photographers may take photographs. Essex Sports Agency will take all reasonable precautions to protect participants against the possible inappropriate use of photographic images.
ESA has a duty of care to safeguard all children from harm. We will ensure the safety and protection of all children at events where ESA are in attendance through adherence to the Child Protection Policy adopted by ESA.
The Essex Sports Agency Code of Ethics of Conduct is adhered to by all our photographers and staff.

PHOTOGRAPHERS AND STAFF
Will only attend an event in an official capacity where invited to do so by the organisers
Adhere to the ESA Child Protection Policy and conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times
Must not have unsupervised access to young people
Will undertake the appropriate enhanced CRB check

PHOTOGRAPHS

All children photographed must be appropriately dressed for the sport in which they are participating. Where a participant removes any item of clothing photos must not be taken - must be in good taste and in keeping with the event taking place
